Down the laneways and back alleys of Temple Bar large panels and murals tell the stories of the greats of Irish fashion, music, literature, art, sport, comedy and more. This is the Icon Walk.
The Icon Factory is a not-for-profit artists’ collective, aimed at promoting our country’s cultural icons.
A small lane way that I randomly spotted on a walk through the city of Dublin ended up being one of my favourite parts of Dublin.
The Icon Factory is a non-profit charity that is staffed by contemporary artists and passionate volunteers.
Pitching itself as “the greatest story ever strolled”, the Icon Walk cracks the heart of the Irish people wide open and tie-dyes the backstreets of Temple Bar with its vibrant colours.
