Mark Duffy is a freelance artist who works primarily with acrylics and coloured pencils on canvas or illustration board. While not afraid to use other mediums he prefers the acrylics as they dry and can be changed quickly while still producing high quality effects. This versatility allows him to change the art around to suit the individual needs and tastes of the piece.

Mahua has been drawing for as long as she can remember. As an art student in Gujarat, India, she paid her dues to the study of landscapesand still life, but her overriding interest, her obsession as she calls it, is in people. She is less concerned with creating a faithful likeness of a subject than in capturing what interests her most about a face or a body.

Dublin-based photographer Martin Baker concentrates in his solo show on the interaction of the natural elements with the subject of a photo. Water, wind, clouds and light all play an important role in Martin’s images. Everything depends on and is influenced by everything else.His photos show his love for water and the reflection of the surroundings on its still surface.

We're happy and excited to have with us all the way from the U.S. Dublin-born artist Colm McCarthy for his first solo show in Ireland! Please join us for the Opening Night on Friday 2nd of November from 6 - 9pm. Dublin-born Colm McCarthy is a self-taught lifelong photographer who began printmaking and painting in 2008. His work tends to have strong socio-political undertones and, though he has been based in the U.S. since 1991, is heavily influenced by his memories of growing up in Ireland.
